to share some history of Starbucks here for you guys to know more about
Starbucks. What is Starbucks mission statement?! Tada~
Starbucks Mission

1971 - Starbucks
opens first store in Seattle’s Pike Place Market.
1982 - Howard Schultz
joins Starbucks as director of retail operations and marketing. Starbucks
begins providing coffee to fine restaurants and espresso bars.
Starbucks is named
after the first mate in Herman Melville’s Moby Dick. Starbucks logo is also
inspired by the sea – featuring a twin-tailed siren from Greek mythology.They
always believed in serving the best coffee possible and their goal for all of
their coffee to be grown under the highest standards of quality, using ethical
sourcing practices.
Starbucks story
began in 1971.Back then they were a roaster and retailer of whole bean and
ground coffee, tea and spices with a single store in Seattle’s Pike Place
Market. Today Starbucks connect with millions of customers every day with
exceptional products and nearly 18,000 retail stores in 60 countries.

Sarawak and surpassed the 140 stores milestone in January 2012. Now into our
14th year operation, Starbucks has grown not only to become the favorite coffee
place for Malaysians but also a productive member of communities across the
country
